Product Details

LUNT LS7-21ZE Zoom Eyepiece

The optical concept of this eyepiece allows you to observe the sun in the best possible quality and to observe objects in the night sky. Reflections are minimized by an excellent multi-coating, a carefully developed in-house anti-glare system and blackened lens margins. This zoom eyepiece does not have a very large field of view but special attention was paid to obtain an optimal image over the entire perceptible field of view. Stars appear perfectly round without distortion. The zoom is almost completely parfocal, from one end of the zoom path to the other end you only have to refocus about 0.5mm. In addition, the eyepiece is equipped with a height-adjustable rubber eyecup to prevent stray light from entering from the sides and help you find the best position for your eyes. Please note that these eyepieces function only as complements to telescopes and H-Alpha solar filters. It is not possible to make solar observations with these eyepieces alone without an additional solar filter
