Product Details

LUNT Heating Module for Blocking Filter

At very low temperatures, it can happen that blocking filtersno longer work centrally in the H-alpha wavelength and thus details in the sun are less visible. With this heating module, this effect can be counteracted and the sun can be optimally observed in the H-alpha line even at low temperatures.

The heating module is designed for use with blocking filters in the Lunt Solar Systems 90° zenith prism housing. It cannot be used with the blocking filters in the straight tube extension.

The heating module has an internal battery that allows approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of operation. The battery can be charged with an included USB cable.
