Ca-K LUNT LS12CaKMDd2 star-diagonal 90° Ca-K filter

Star diagonal Calcium-K module for use with normal astronomical telescopes up to 100 mm aperture and 1080 mm focal length such as Ca-K solar telescopes.

This Calcium-K module converts your normal astronomical refractor telescope into a Ca-K solar telescope. It's easy: Attach the Ca-K module to the 2" focuser of your telescope, and you're ready for solar observing at the Calcium-K wavelength.

The internal narrow band filters allow a bandwidth up to 100 mm aperture and up to 1080 mm focal length. For imaging it will be better to use a larger Ca-K module.

The Ca-K module is on a 90° star diagonal, for a 2" focuser on the telescope side, and with T2 thread and 1.25" eyepiece connection on the eyepiece side.

All the filter parts you need are integrated inside this compact module. No additional filters are required.

The Ca-K wavelength is at the edge of the visible light spectrum for the human eye, making visual observation difficult for many people. However, all details can be captured photographically. This Ca-K module is optimal primarily for imaging.
