LS130MT/B3400 telescopes can be equipped with this optional Ca-K module and conversion kit. This allows you to explore the Sun with a single telescope at different wavelengths, and to use the telescope also for observing and photographing the starry night sky.

With a few simple steps you can exchange the H-Alpha system of the LS130MT/B3400 telescope for this conversion kit with Ca-K module. This way you can observe the Sun in H-Alpha or in the Ca-K wavelength with the same telescope!

This Ca-K module has been specially constructed for the LS130MT H-Alpha telescope. It is supplied in a set together with the construction kit, with a completely new ocular focuser. On the LS130MT/B3400 it is only necessary to loosen three knurled screws that hold the H-Alpha unit together with the eyepiece focuser. Here you then attach the new eyepiece focuser with the Ca-K module to turn your LS130MT into a perfectly good Ca-K telescope.

But that's not all: with the new eyepiece focuser, without installing the Ca-K module, the LS130MT/B3400 can also be used as a three-lens apochromatic telescope for astronomical observations and night photography!

Or you can use a Herschel LUNT prism to observe the Sun in white light as well.

This kit turns the LS130MT into a true multi-purpose telescope.

You can use this conversion kit also on the LS130MT/B1200 and LS130MT/B1800 telescopes, but it is not necessary. You only need this kit on the LS130MT/B3400, since on this telescope the locking filter is installed fixed on the eyepiece focuser.

The LS130MT telescope is not included in the scope of delivery. It can only be used in conjunction with a LS130THa solar telescope.
