LUNT LS130TBP&F conversion kit for LS130MT
The LS130MT/B3400 telescopes can be upgraded with this conversion kit. This allows the Sun to be scanned at different wavelengths with the same telescope, and the telescope can also be used to observe and photograph the starry night sky.
You can replace the H-Alpha system of the LS130MT/B3400 telescope with this conversion kit in just a few steps. This makes it possible to observe the sun in H-alpha, in Calcium-K wavelength light, or in white light - with one and the same telescope!
You will only need the additional Ca-K module for the LS130MT (item number 0551697), or a Herschel wedge from LUNT (item number 0558201 or 0558211).
But there's more: With this conversion kit, the LS130MT/B3400 can also be used as a 3-lens apochromatic telescope for astronomical observations and night photography.
This conversion kit turns the LS130MT into a true all-purpose telescope.
This conversion kit has been specially designed for the LS130MT/B3400 H-Alpha telescope. It includes a completely new focuser. Simply loosen the three knurled screws on the LS130MT/B3400, which hold the H-Alpha unit together with the focuser. Here the new focuser will be attached, and you have now converted your LS130MT into a suitable triplet ED apochromatic telescope.
This conversion kit can also be used on the LS130MT/B1200 and LS130MT/B1800 telescopes, but is not required on them. This conversion kit is only needed on the LS130MT/B3400, as on this telescope the locking filter is fixedly installed inside the focuser.
