Adapter Kepler for CCD and Canon EOS lens (Canon EF to T2 thread)
Normally with a CCD camera or a planetary camera, you photograph by passing light through a telescope. This makes it possible to photograph planets and deep sky objects that cover a small field of view, but it does not make it possible to photograph large astronomical objects that occupy a considerable field of sky.
To solve this problem, Kepler has created this adapter, from Canon EF bayonet to T2 thread, which allows you to use your CCD camera with standard EF lenses for Canon EOS. Instead of your telescope, use one of your Canon EOS lenses as a small short focal length telescope. It doesn't matter if you use an original Canon EF lens or a lens from another manufacturer, as long as it has a Canon EOS bayonet. It is especially recommended for CCD or CMOS cameras with large sensors.
Applications:
- Performing astrophotography with CCD and Canon EOS lenses.
- Use of Canon EOS lenses for autoguiding
NOTE: The product image shown is with a Tamron lens and a CCD camera ATIK. Neither the camera nor the lens is included with this accessory.
