Product Details

In everyday astronomical photography, back focus has an influence. Astronomical photographers are often frustrated by backlight change due to various reasons, such as refraction of filters or when using some products with sensitive backlight. To solve this problem, ASKAR launched the backlight adjuster, (providing an adjustment range of 16mm-20mm), which can adjust ± 2mm of the backlight. We offer two specifications for the back focus adjuster, M54 and M48 camera side adapter, which are convenient for users to choose.

The front telescope interface of the M54 backlight adjuster is M54x0.75 female thread and the rear camera interface is M54x0.75 male thread, the total thickness is 18mm and offers an adjustment range of ± 2mm.

The front telescopic interface of the M48 back focus adjuster is M54x0.75 female thread and the rear camera interface is M48x0.75 male thread, the total thickness is 18 mm and offers an adjustment range of ± 2 mm.

The rear focus adjuster is CNC machined. Each unit is a precision adjustment of 0.05mm, the surface is printed with a scale for easy adjustment and position storage. There are two holes for fixing screws, which make the adjuster easy to use with different products.

By rotating the back focus adjuster, it can be adjusted within ± 2mm to match the back focus requirement, and to solve various image problems caused by back focus.

Users just need to choose according to the rear adapter of their product.
