By shooting with the 2" 6nm Narrow Band Duo Filter (Hα+OIII) and a color camera, users will get outstanding results.

Typically, in astrophotography, the signal-to-noise ratio of Hα is stronger, while that of OIII is relatively weak. Since our two narrowband duo filters are Hα + OIII and SII + OIII, the combination can balance the signal-to-noise ratio of each channel when shooting and, after software processing, can achieve the ideal result almost as well as shooting with a combination of three narrowband filters and a single camera.

We call "D1" the Hα+OIII 2" 6nm narrowband duo filter and "D2" the SII+OIII filter, the combination of the two is the latest "D" filter set from Askar. It offers color camera users a new way to achieve similar results without using a mono camera and SHO filters.
