Color Magic 6nm Duo Narrow Band Deep Sky Filter (OIII and SII)
While most commercially available narrowband duo filters for deep sky astrophotography are in the Ha and OIII bands, ASKAR offers another structure: SII and OIII.
When photographing deep sky galaxies with color cameras, a narrowband duo filter is typically used in the Ha and OIII bands; whereas with a mono camera, a narrowband filter is typically used in the Ha, SII and OIII bands, leaving color camera users with a lost band of nebular detail. This can be compensated for by using the SII and OIII narrowband duo filters mentioned above.
The Askar 6nm Narrowband (OIII and SII) duo filter has an ultrahigh transmission of over 90% at its center wavelength (500.7nm and 671nm). The Askar 6nm Narrow Band Duo Filter (OIII & SII) can effectively eliminate the influence of light pollution.
