Tripod Adapter Bracket Kepler 423 for binoculars
Heavier binoculars (70 mm diameter and larger) are difficult to hold with bare hands. To avoid shaking during your observations, a tripod is recommended (the Baader Astro-Nature 2451020, for example). Attachment to the tripod requires a special adapter, such as this model from Kepler made specifically for this purpose.
how does this mount work?
First you attach the mount to the tripod (which must have a Kodak thread pitch screw) in one of the 2 holes of the adapter. Then, with the gray knurled screw, attach the mount Kepler to your binoculars. Most binoculars with large diameters have a threaded hole in the center axis, which is usually protected with a cap.
Check that the tripod / adapter / binoculars are stable and securely fastened before starting your astronomical or terrestrial observations.
