Wega hot shoe adapter for red dot finder, suitable for Canon cameras, 3D printing
It is not so easy to aim an SLR camera at the desired object at night. If you don't have very bright objects like the moon, planets or bright stars available, neither a view through the finder nor the camera's live view will help. With this adapter you can mount a red dot finder from Skywatcher, Omegon or Wega Telescopes on the hot shoe.
You can easily align the red dot finder with a distant object during the day. A power pole, a church tower or an antenna are completely sufficient for this. Now the camera lens and the finder are aligned parallel to each other and you will have no more problems at night to find the desired object without any trouble.
nEW! Wega Telescopes now uses a new filament for this 3D printed item, which is much more resistant to UV rays and temperatures up to 110°C. This makes it possible to use it in stationary applications in summer without deforming the material.
