Seletek Limpet, the smallest and most recent controller in the family.

The prestigious Lunático brand surprises us with the set formed by a stepper focusing motor and the new Seletek Limpet controller (the limpet) with which you can easily control the focuser of your telescope from your cell phone, through the web browser of your computer or from any astronomy program (the corresponding ASCOM and INDILib drivers are available).

In addition to focusing, you can control a camera rotator (with our software for Windows and ASCOM), all via USB or wirelessly.

The set to automate your focuser with Seletek Armadillo 2 is delivered ready to use and consists of the following elements:

• The Seletek Limpet Controller
• A stepper motor of 3600 steps per turn
• A coupling cylinder from the motor shaft to the telescope's focuser shaft
• A plate (or coupling piece) to fit your focuser and the motor supplied
• A connection cable from the motor to the Seletek controller
• A power cable with locking screw
• A photo threaded screw for easy attachment of the controller

DESCRIPTION OF THE SELETEK LIMPET CONTROLLER

With the Limpet you can:

• Control a focuser
• Control a rotator, like the VSI "Zerotator" or the VSI "TAKometer" Astrodon
• Independent control of any pin of the controller, manual or automatic (depending on the delta temperature), useful not only for fan control but also for heater bands like those of the ZeroDew system.

Connect via Wifi, using the Limpet's internal access point or that of your observatory, or with a USB cable.

The Limpet can be equipped with an optional WIFI antenna. It is only necessary if the WIFI signal is weak. If the access point is in the observatory, it is not necessary. You can also add an optional external temperature sensor.

The Limpet includes the power cable, with locking screw and a screw with thread compatible with photographic tripods. With a very small size and a central hole, it is easily mounted on the telescope with a single screw.

• Focuser, rotator and filter wheel software are ASCOM compatible. Linux / INDIlib driver for focuser also available.
• ASCOM and INDiLib compatibility allows focusing from your cell phone via web interface (NEW!)
• Windows software is compatible with any current version (XP, Vista, 7, 10, 32 bit, 64 bit)
• Works with FocusMax, MaximDL, CCDCommander, ACP, CCD AutoPilot, SGPro, Voyager, APT ... and any ASCOM compatible astronomy software.
• All proven Seletek Armadillo and Platyus software is valid for the Limpet (one device at a time).

Accessories available for the Limpet:

• External temperature sensor
• External wifi antenna (only necessary in cases of weak wifi signal). If the wifi access point is in the observatory the antenna is not necessary.
• Power cable with car cigarette lighter adapter
