Fitting a filter drawer to the telescope and camera is often quite a time-consuming task. And as soon as you change camera or use a new telescope with different filter sizes, the game starts all over again. With this multifunctional filter drawer, ASKAR offers a solution for all common telescope and camera connections as well as for all common filter sizes.
The multifunctional filter changer consists of:

The base element to which the adapters on the camera and telescope side are connected. This base element also houses the filter holders.

The filter holders with inserts for all common filter sizes. Three filter holders are supplied: one for 1.25" and 31 mm filters, one for 36 mm filters and one for 2" and 50 mm filters.

Telescope side adapters with female thread M42x0.75 (T2), M48x0.75 and M54x0.75.

Camera side adapters with male thread M42x0.75 (T2), M48x0.75 and M54x0.75.

Also included are the appropriate screws for fixing the unmounted filters.
Usagetip : how to achieve a working distance of 55 mm:
If you want to integrate an off-axis guide, we recommend # ASKAS-M54OAG. With a normal flange focal length of your camera of 17.5 mm, you will achieve exactly the working distance of 55 mm with the off-axis guide, the # ASFD filter box and your camera that require many correctors.
If you want to work without an off-axis guide, you can achieve 19.5 mm with suitable extension rings and adjustment rings. The following is an example for correctors with M48x0.75 camera connection and for cameras with 17.5 mm flange focal length (e.g. cameras ZWO or TS-Optics cooled):
