ASKAR Multi-Connection Filter Box
Installing a filter drawer on the telescope and camera is often a headache. And as soon as the camera is changed or a new telescope with different filter sizes is used, the problems start.
With this multifunctional filter drawer, Askar offers a solution for all common telescope and camera connections and for all common filter sizes.
It consists of the following components:
Base element on which the adapters on the camera and telescope sides are connected. This base element also houses the filter holders.
The filter holder with inserts for all common filter sizes. Three filter holders are supplied: one for 1.25" and 31 mm filters, one for 36 mm filters and one for 2" and 50 mm filters.
Telescope side adapters with M42x0.75 (T2), M48X0.75 and M54X0.75 Female
Camera side adapters with M42X0.75 (T2), M48X0.75 and M54X0.75 Male
Get 55mm of back focus
With its 18mm of optical extension, it will be easy to place this filter box in the optical chain of your setup.
It will fit very well on cameras like ZWO or others with a 17.5mm throw.
can also be used with the ASAKAR optical splitter ref: AS-M54OAG and all cameras ZWO or others with a 17.5mm backfocus
