JTW Astronomy is a Dutch company that builds custom astronomical instrumentation for professional and amateur astronomers. They have optical, electronics, software and mechanical engineers, with a powerful in-house production capability that allows them to build telescopes up to 1.2 meters aperture without the need to subcontract, so they can offer unbeatable prices. The company was founded by a team of engineers with a passion for astronomy who have grown from providing machining services and camera modifications for amateur astronomers to contributing to professional projects, providing equipment and services to big names such as NASA, ESA, BBC, Warwick University and TU Delft. Initially, the company started out operating as an OEM supplier to more established companies that have resold JTW Astronomy's work as their own, but over time, they have worked to build their own brand and have strived to strengthen it in the astronomical instrumentation market, which is always so competitive due to the continuous innovations that are constantly appearing.
