The Viking Badger binoculars also marketed by SEO BIRDLIFE as AZOR 10x42 binoculars are in a segment immediately above the Hawk binoculars, which are designed for amateurs just starting out in the world of birdwatching. They feature a more robust, water-resistant and fully rubberized construction for durability.
They are also nitrogen-filled to keep out all types of particles and feature enhanced, high-quality BaK4 prisms for a sharp, bright image.
Externally, the rubberized adjustments are more polished in detail than the previous model. The retractable eyepiece cups have no serrated groove, and have the feel they should have to convey good sensations.
The grip, with a focusing wheel that has no play and is well located. The hinge shows good resistance and the same can be said of the diopter adjustment ring, they can move but will remain in place once we have fixed them to our liking.
The strap provided is not only the right width (about 3 cm) but it is made of a thick and flexible material reminiscent of neoprene, which makes it quite comfortable.
They come with a five-year warranty and are completely waterproof, which is very good for the price range in which they move.
